Rotation Notice July 2021

A meeting was held by the Board of Directors of the Corbett Slough on July 2, 2021 to determine the best possible way to deliver water to shareholders. Currently the Corbett Slough has only ½ the natural flow and is using storage water. The Corbett is not the only canal company experiencing low flow as all canals in this area are experiencing drought related restrictions. Therefore, the following measures are put into effect starting July 7, 2021 and until further notice. The canal will be placed on a 4-day rotation; 4 days with water and 4 days without water. ALL headgates and check boards will only be adjusted by the Corbett’s ditch rider, Dennis. Headgates will be chained and locked. Anyone caught tampering with headgates or checks boards may be subject to legal actions. Only the lateral’s representative is to call or communicate with Dennis. Following is a list of lateral ditches, the lateral’s representative and the representative’s phone number. If you have any problems with your ditch, you are to contact your lateral’s representative or president for resolution. The shareholders will be notified of changes as needed via email and lateral representatives will be notified of changes by phone from the Corbett Board. You will be under the same obligation of not tampering with either headgates or check boards as the rest of the canal is. Please be respectful and cooperate with Dennis as his position is very important to the Corbett. Do not expect to receive any additional water over your allotted share while on rotation.
